![]() There are a few things in the PS4 version of the game you can take advantage of:ġ: When you pause and unpause the game, it takes a moment to load and for Pac-Man to continue moving (note that this may be a glitch or otherwise unintended, as it does not happen on the Xbox One version of the game). This is riskier than the method above, but may be right for a lot of people, as playing perfectly for 50 seconds can be pretty tough. If memorizing or following patterns isn't your style, you can always attempt to earn the trophy by luring the ghosts to each of the Power Pellets and taking them by surprise. Option 2: "Wing it" and maybe cheat a little Basically, complete a step (image), pause, review the next image, unpause, repeat: If you're having trouble, you can take advantage of the short load after unpausing the game to follow step by step with the images. Your goal is to memorize the steps and follow them exactly. I've broken them into a fairly large number of images so they are digestible chunks. The following images are in the order of the steps you should take. If watching videos isn't your thing, then you can use the images below to see the path you should take: There are a few ways to go about this but the method I show in the video above is arguably the safest, as with some skill and knowledge you can adjust your position to account for any slight mistakes and loss of speed later in the run. Learn it, find a time machine then go back to the 80s and show off to all your new friends. The Perfect Cherry Pattern is one of the most elegant things you can do in an arcade. If you're interested in the Perfect Cherry Pattern then check out my video guide below, where I show the pattern and explain some key points (I mistakenly called the trophy "Om Nom Nom x4" in the video, as the trophies are all labelled weird): The first and most well-known is the Cherry Pattern and the following information relates to a perfect pattern (collecting all dots, all fruit, and killing all 4 ghosts with each Power Pellet). There are a number of patterns in Pac-Man which will lead to a perfect stage completion. There are a few ways to achieve this and I'll go over all of your options here. This is most easily done on the first stage and requires that you collect both of the fruits that will appear and take full advantage of all four of the Power Pellets in the level. This is easily the toughest trophy in the game, requiring either a perfect run or some skilful manoeuvring. Check out the guide itself for more info on each of the remaining trophies. These can be earned in whatever order you're comfortable with, and some may have been earned naturally during step 1, depending on your skill with Pac-Man. These will all be done by starting on the first level, and some will require going a few levels into the game, with some being mutually exclusive (e.g. ![]() Now that you have the hang of the game (probably) it's time to clear out the more difficult trophies. ![]() Upon completing this step, you will have earned the following: Make sure to pick up each of the different fruits along the way for the corresponding trophies (if you miss any you can always just replay the required level). This will make it easier to progress, and gives you the chance to get the hang of the game before going for some of the more difficult trophies. In this menu you can give yourself 5 lives and the ability to start from any level you've reached previously. ![]() Open up the menu and go to "Game Setting". You can even check out the infamous level 256 if you're skilled enough so what are you waiting for? Get out there and memorize some ridiculous patterns and get some high scores! Pac-Man makes the leap to next gen in the most reasonable way possible - a port of the original arcade game! This version of Pac-Man is more or less true to the original with a few added features, including pausing, saving your game, extra lives, and level select.
